Little Boy’s Love for His Family – Have Fun Cute Readers

Long ago there lived a boy named Ravi, who was just ten years old. He came from a humble family, and they didn’t have much money.

Despite this, Ravi’s family was his world—especially his little sister, Anu, who was five years old.

Anu’s birthday was approaching, and Ravi overheard her saying, “I wish I had a doll like the ones in the store window.” Her innocent words stuck in Ravi’s heart.

The Boy Have A Doll

He wanted to make her dream come true.

One day after school, Ravi went to the toy store and asked the shopkeeper about the price of the doll.

The shopkeeper smiled and said, “This one is 300 rupees.” Ravi’s heart sank.

He had only 50 rupees saved from doing small chores for neighbours.

Determined to buy the doll, Ravi began thinking of ways to earn more money.

He started helping neighbours with bigger tasks—cleaning gardens, delivering groceries, and washing cars.

Each evening, he would come home tired but happy, knowing he was a step closer to his goal.

A week before Anu’s birthday, Ravi counted his savings.

He was still 50 rupees short. Feeling disheartened, he decided to visit the toy store again.

When he entered, the shopkeeper recognized him and asked, “Back again, little one?”

The Boy Giving Doll To His Sister

Ravi nodded and explained his situation, his voice trembling, “I’ve saved almost enough. I just want to buy this doll for my sister’s birthday.

She’s been dreaming of it.”

The shopkeeper looked at Ravi with kind eyes and said, “Wait here.”

He went to the back of the store and returned with the doll, carefully wrapped in beautiful paper. Handing it to Ravi, he said, “Here you go.

This is for your sister. You’ve worked hard, and your love is worth more than the price of this doll.”

Quote of the Day

Love and determination can make even the smallest hands achieve the biggest dreams.

Ravi was speechless. Tears welled up in his eyes. “But sir, I don’t have enough money…”

The shopkeeper smiled and replied, “You’ve already paid for it—with your love and determination. That’s the most precious currency there is.”

On Anu’s birthday, Ravi handed her the doll. Her face lit up with joy, and she hugged Ravi tightly. “This is the best gift ever!” she exclaimed.

Ravi’s heart filled with happiness, knowing he had made his little sister’s dream come true.

From that day on, Ravi learned that acts of love and kindness can move mountains and touch hearts in ways money never can.

Moral of the Story

Love and determination are powerful forces. When you act selflessly for others, the world often finds a way to help you succeed.
