Alice in Wonderland – Let’s Read
Alice was a curious little girl who loved exploring. One sunny afternoon, she sat under a big tree with her favorite book.
But as the breeze rustled the leaves, her eyes grew heavy, and she fell asleep.
In her dream, she saw a cute white rabbit who is wearing a tiny coat and carrying a pocket watch.
The rabbit muttered, “Oh dear! I’m late!” Curious, Alice followed the rabbit as it hopped into a hole under a bush. Without thinking, she peeked in and fell into the hole!

Alice landed softly in a strange, colorful place.
Everything was so different! Flowers spoke, trees had faces, and the air smelled like magic.
She walked down a path and saw the White Rabbit again. “Wait!” she called, but the rabbit disappeared behind a golden door.
The door was locked, but Alice found a small bottle on a table that said, “Drink Me.” She hesitated, then took a sip.
More Bedtime Tales
Suddenly, she shrank to the size of a mouse! Now she could fit through the door.
Behind the door was a garden more beautiful than anything Alice had ever seen.
A talking caterpillar sat on a mushroom and greeted her. “Who are you?” it asked.
Alice explained her story, and the caterpillar gave her a piece of mushroom. “Eat this if you want to change size,” it said with a smile.
As she explored, Alice met many odd characters.

There was the Cheshire Cat, who always grinned and gave riddles; the Mad Hatter, who invited her to a very strange tea party; and the Queen of Hearts, who loved to shout, “Off with their heads!”
The Queen challenged Alice to a game of croquet, but the balls were hedgehogs, and the mallets were flamingos.
It was the most ridiculous game Alice had ever played!
Soon, Alice grew tired of all the madness. She took out the piece of mushroom and nibbled on it.

She grew back to her normal size and decided it was time to leave.
Alice found her way back to the golden door and climbed up the rabbit hole. She woke up under the tree, her book still in her lap.
“Was it all a dream?” she wondered. But in her pocket, she found a tiny piece of mushroom and smiled.
The end.
Alice in Wonderland – Detailed Story
Alice was a little girl with a big imagination. She loved asking questions, exploring new places, and getting lost in her favorite books.
Every day felt like an adventure to her, whether she was chasing butterflies in the garden or reading stories about faraway lands.
One sunny afternoon, Alice decided to take her book and find a cozy spot outside. She wandered into the garden and found a perfect place under a big, shady tree.
The grass was soft and cool, and the sunlight peeked through the leaves, making little patterns on the ground. It felt like the tree was keeping her company.
As she sat down, a gentle breeze tickled her face, and the leaves above her swayed softly, creating a calming rustling sound.
Birds chirped happily in the distance, adding to the peaceful moment. Alice opened her book and began reading, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
But as she turned the pages, the warm breeze and the soothing sounds around her made her feel sleepy. Her eyelids grew heavy, and the words on the page began to blur. Before she knew it, Alice leaned back against the tree, her book resting in her lap, and drifted into a deep, dreamy sleep.
The White Rabbit
Alice was enjoying her dream when suddenly, she noticed something unusual. A little white rabbit came hopping by, and it wasn’t just an ordinary rabbit.
This rabbit wore a tiny coat that looked as neat as if he were going to a fancy event. In one paw, he held a shiny pocket watch, which he kept glancing at nervously.
“Oh dear! Oh dear! I’m late!” the rabbit muttered as he hurried along. His voice was soft but filled with worry, and his big, round eyes darted from side to side.
Alice had never seen a rabbit like this before. A rabbit that could talk? And one that wore clothes and carried a watch? This was far too curious to ignore!
Her heart raced with excitement as she stood up and followed the rabbit. “Wait! Where are you going?”
Alice called, but the rabbit didn’t stop. He hopped quickly toward a bush and disappeared into a hole beneath it.
Without thinking twice, Alice knelt down and peeked into the hole. It looked deep and mysterious. She couldn’t resist.
Curiosity got the better of her, and before she knew it, Alice had leaned in too far and tumbled headfirst into the rabbit hole!
Falling Into the Rabbit Hole
As Alice tumbled into the rabbit hole, she expected to land with a thud—but instead, she kept falling!
The hole seemed to stretch endlessly, and instead of being dark and gloomy, it was filled with the strangest sights.
Floating past her were books that flipped their own pages, shiny clocks ticking backward, and teacups spinning in the air like they were dancing.
Alice wasn’t scared—she was amazed. “What a curious place this is!” she thought as she drifted downward, feeling as light as a feather.
Finally, her fall slowed, and she landed gently on a soft, mossy floor. Alice stood up and brushed herself off, looking around in wonder.
She had arrived in the most colorful and peculiar place she had ever seen. The sky above wasn’t blue—it shimmered in shades of pink and gold.
The trees around her were alive, their branches waving like arms, and their bark had faces that smiled or winked at her as she passed.
The air smelled sweet, like candy and flowers, and streams of glowing water bubbled nearby, sparkling as if they were made of stars.
Alice couldn’t believe her eyes. As she walked, she noticed flowers with bright faces chatting with each other, their voices like tiny bells. “Hello there!” one flower said, making Alice jump in surprise.
She giggled and waved back, amazed that even the plants could talk in this strange place.
Everywhere she turned, there was something new and magical.
One tree leaned down to offer her a shiny apple, while a tiny cloud drifted past her shoulder, humming a soft tune.
Alice felt a mix of excitement and confusion. “What is this place?” she wondered aloud. Nothing made sense, but at the same time, everything felt like a dream she didn’t want to end.
With every step, Alice’s curiosity grew, and she couldn’t wait to see what other surprises Wonderland had in store for her.
Encountering the Golden Door
As Alice wandered through Wonderland, she suddenly spotted the White Rabbit again!
He was hopping quickly down a path, still looking at his shiny pocket watch. “Oh dear! I’m so very late!” he muttered, disappearing behind a beautiful golden door at the end of the path.
“Wait! Please stop!” Alice called, running after him. But by the time she reached the door, the rabbit was gone, and the door was locked.
She tried turning the knob, pushing, and even knocking, but it wouldn’t budge. Alice frowned and looked around, hoping to find a key or another way in.
That’s when she noticed a little table standing nearby.
On the table was a tiny bottle with a tag that said, “Drink Me.” Alice picked it up and turned it over in her hands.
The bottle sparkled in the light, and the liquid inside was a pretty, swirling color.
She hesitated. “Should I really drink something from a strange bottle?” she wondered. But her curiosity got the better of her. “It must be safe if it’s labeled,” she thought, and with a deep breath, she took a small sip.
Almost instantly, Alice felt something strange happening. She looked down and gasped—she was shrinking!
Smaller and smaller she grew until she was no bigger than a mouse. “Oh my goodness!” she exclaimed, spinning around to see the world now towering above her.
The golden door, once so big and unreachable, was now the perfect size for her tiny self.
“This is incredible!” Alice said, her excitement bubbling over. She ran to the door, ready to see what lay on the other side, her heart racing with curiosity and wonder. Wonderland was getting more magical with every step!
Entering the Magical Garden
Alice squeezed through the golden door and gasped at the sight before her. She had entered the most magical garden she could have ever imagined.
Everywhere she looked, there were vibrant, colorful flowers swaying gently, their petals glowing like they were lit from within.
Sparkling fountains bubbled and danced, sending tiny rainbows into the air. The grass was as soft as a fluffy carpet, and the air smelled sweet, like honey and fresh fruit.
As she wandered deeper into the garden, Alice saw creatures she’d never seen before.
Tiny birds with shimmering, jewel-like feathers zipped through the air, and butterflies as big as her hands fluttered gracefully from flower to flower.
Even the bees buzzed cheerfully, humming little tunes as they worked.
In the middle of the garden stood a giant mushroom, and sitting on top of it was a plump blue caterpillar.
He wore a serious expression but puffed gently on a little pipe that sent swirls of smoky patterns into the air. When he noticed Alice, he raised an eyebrow and asked in a deep, slow voice, “Who are you?”
Alice hesitated. “I’m Alice, and… I’m not sure how I got here,” she said honestly.
The caterpillar nodded thoughtfully. “Hmm. Well, things in Wonderland aren’t always what they seem,” he said with a small smile.
He pointed at the mushroom. “This can help you. Eat a piece if you need to grow or shrink. But be careful—size is tricky here.”
Alice looked at the mushroom, her eyes wide with curiosity. “Thank you,” she said, breaking off a small piece and tucking it into her pocket.
She wasn’t sure when she might need it, but in a place as strange and magical as Wonderland, it seemed smart to be prepared.
With a smile and a wave to the caterpillar, Alice continued exploring the beautiful garden, wondering what other surprises were waiting for her in this incredible world.
Meeting the Odd Characters
As Alice wandered further into Wonderland, she soon found herself meeting some of the strangest characters she had ever imagined.
The Cheshire Cat
Alice was walking along a twisting path when she noticed a grin floating in mid-air.
She blinked, unsure of what she was seeing. Slowly, a cat appeared around the grin—a sleek, striped cat with the most mischievous smile.
“Hello,” the Cheshire Cat purred. “Where are you heading?”
“I’m not quite sure,” Alice admitted. “Which way should I go?”
The cat’s grin grew wider. “That depends on where you want to end up,” it said with a playful glint in its eyes.
The Cheshire Cat spoke in riddles that made Alice’s head spin, but somehow, they also made sense most strangely.
Before she could ask more questions, the cat’s body slowly vanished, leaving only its grin hanging in the air before it disappeared completely. “What a curious creature,” Alice thought.
The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party
Alice soon stumbled upon a long table covered with teapots, cups, and plates of odd snacks.
Sitting at the table were a peculiar group: a man in a tall hat, called the Mad Hatter; a sleepy Dormouse curled up in a teacup; and the lively March Hare, who seemed to bounce in his seat
“Join us!” the Mad Hatter exclaimed, tipping his enormous hat.
Alice sat down, but she quickly realized this was no ordinary tea party. The teapots poured themselves, the cups spoke in tiny voices, and the conversations made no sense at all.
“Why is a raven like a writing desk?” the Mad Hatter asked, laughing before Alice could even try to answer.
The Dormouse mumbled nonsense in its sleep, and the March Hare argued with the teapots over which cup got the first pour.
It was the most ridiculous tea party Alice had ever attended!
After a while, she politely excused herself, feeling both amused and bewildered.
The Queen of Hearts
As Alice continued exploring, she came across a grand garden with heart-shaped hedges and red roses. There, she met the Queen of Hearts, a loud and dramatic woman dressed in red and gold
“Who is this?” the Queen demanded, pointing at Alice. Before Alice could answer, the Queen shouted, “Off with her head!”
Alice gasped in shock, but luckily, one of the Queen’s guards whispered, “Don’t worry, she says that all the time.”
The Queen insisted that Alice join her for a game of croquet. But this was no ordinary game—flamingos were used as mallets, and the balls were hedgehogs that kept running away.
Alice tried her best to play, but the Queen kept changing the rules and shouting commands.
It was chaotic and hilarious, though Alice had to be careful not to upset the Queen.
By the end of it, Alice was both entertained and exhausted.
She couldn’t believe how odd and wonderful the characters of Wonderland were. Each meeting had been a wild adventure, and she was eager to see what might happen next!
The Croquet Game
Alice stood in the middle of the Queen’s grand garden, surrounded by hedges shaped like hearts.
The croquet game was about to begin, and Alice couldn’t believe her eyes. Instead of wooden mallets, the players held live flamingos with long, curvy necks.
And instead of balls, they used hedgehogs that curled up tight and rolled across the grass.
The Queen of Hearts clapped her hands. “Let the game begin!” she declared.
Alice picked up her flamingo, but it didn’t seem interested in helping.
It squawked and flapped its wings, bending its neck in every direction except toward the hedgehog.
When she finally got the flamingo to cooperate, the hedgehog decided to run off in the opposite direction.
Meanwhile, the Queen shouted orders at everyone. “Hit it harder! Aim better! Off with their heads!” she yelled, pointing at anyone who missed their turn.
The guards, who were shaped like playing cards, scurried around trying to set up the hedgehogs and calm the Queen’s temper.
Alice tried her best to play, but the game was complete chaos.
Players argued over whose turn it was, flamingos fought with each other, and hedgehogs kept dodging the swings.
The Queen, of course, insisted that she was winning, even when she wasn’t.
Frustrated, Alice looked around and realized something important—none of it made sense.
The rules kept changing, the Queen’s demands grew sillier by the minute, and the game felt more like a joke than a competition.
As the Queen prepared to shout another “Off with their heads!” Alice couldn’t help but giggle to herself.
Wonderland was full of madness, and there was no point in trying to make sense of it. She decided to simply enjoy the absurdity for what it was.
The Queen glared at Alice. “What’s so funny?” she demanded.
“Oh, nothing,” Alice said with a smile, hiding her laughter as the chaos of the game continued around her.
The Escape
After what felt like hours of madness, Alice couldn’t take it anymore. Wonderland was fun, but it was also so chaotic!
The Queen kept shouting, the flamingos and hedgehogs wouldn’t behave, and everything felt upside down. Alice was starting to miss the peace and quiet of her own world.
In a moment of frustration, she remembered the small piece of mushroom the caterpillar had given her. She pulled it out of her pocket and took a small nibble.
Immediately, she began to grow—taller and taller, until she was back to her normal size.
With a sigh of relief, Alice looked around. Everything seemed a little less strange now that she was her usual self. She walked towards the golden door, feeling more determined than ever to leave Wonderland behind.
The door, which had seemed so small when she was tiny, was now the perfect size for her.
She turned the handle and stepped through the door, finding herself in front of the familiar rabbit hole once again.
Alice climbed up the hole slowly, careful not to trip on her way back. It was a long climb, but as she made her way upward, she felt a sense of calm wash over her.
Soon, she saw the light filtering through the trees above.
Finally, with one last push, Alice tumbled out of the hole and landed softly on the ground, just beneath the big tree where she had fallen asleep.
She blinked and looked around, still wondering if everything had been a dream.
But then, she reached into her pocket and found the tiny piece of mushroom, still tucked safely inside.
Alice smiled to herself. Maybe Wonderland wasn’t just a dream after all.
Waking Up
Alice slowly opened her eyes and blinked at the bright sunlight shining through the leaves of the big tree. She was lying on the soft grass, just like before, with her favorite book still resting in her lap.
She sat up, feeling a bit dazed. Had all of that really happened?
The White Rabbit, the talking flowers, the Queen of Hearts, and the strange game of croquet—it had all felt so real.
But now, everything was calm and quiet, just like before she had fallen asleep.
Alice looked around, wondering if she had been dreaming. She took a deep breath, the peaceful air around her making everything seem normal again.
Then, her hand brushed against something in her pocket.
Curious, she pulled out the tiny piece of mushroom—the same one the caterpillar had given her.
A smile spread across Alice’s face as she looked at the mushroom. It seemed like a sign that her adventure in Wonderland wasn’t just a dream. Maybe it was real, after all.
With a soft giggle, Alice stood up, feeling a sense of wonder in her heart. She would never stop being curious, no matter where it led her.
After all, the world was full of magic and mystery, just waiting to be discovered.
Alice smiled to herself, ready for whatever new adventures might come her way.
