The Rainbow Bridge to Dreamland – Let’s Read
Once there was a girl, her name was Mira. She lived in a small but beautiful village.
Every night before bed, Mira thinks about magic, fairies, and enchanted world.
She loved stories about fairies, stars, and faraway lands, but nothing thrilled her as much as the tales her grandma told her about the Rainbow Bridge to Dreamland.
One evening, just as the sun was setting and casting a warm glow over the land, Mira spotted something incredible.
A faint, shimmering bridge made of rainbow colours appeared, stretching from her backyard all the way up into the clouds.
Mira rubbed her eyes, unsure if she was dreaming.
But when she looked again, the bridge was still there, glowing brighter as twilight turned to dusk.
Suddenly, a soft, friendly voice whispered, “Come, Mira. Tonight, you can walk the Rainbow Bridge to Dreamland.”
Mira felt a flutter of excitement. With a deep breath, she stepped out of her room and onto the bridge, feeling as light as a feather.
Each step she took shimmered with colours—rosy pinks, soothing blues, and glimmering greens. It felt like walking on a path made of soft, fluffy clouds!

As she moved along the bridge, Mira saw magical sights she had only ever dreamed about. Glowing fireflies circled around her, lighting the way.
She saw twinkling stars that seemed close enough to touch, and when she reached out, they giggled and sparkled even brighter.
She heard the faint notes of music, like a lullaby carried by the wind, and as she walked, the bridge seemed to sing along.
At last, Mira reached the other side of the Rainbow Bridge and found herself in a land unlike any she had ever seen.
This was Dreamland, a place where anything was possible.
Floating islands drifted in the sky, each one with beautiful flowers, friendly animals, and fountains of shimmering stardust.
Animals with wings—bunnies, cats, and even turtles—greeted her warmly.
A friendly fox named Luna came up to Mira and said, “Welcome to Dreamland, Mira! Tonight, you’re our honoured guest.”
Luna led her to a meadow where soft, glowing flowers blanketed the ground like a magical carpet.
“Here in Dreamland,” Luna explained, “everyone’s wishes would come to life. If you close your eyes and make a wish, it will appear right here.”
Mira closed her eyes and thought of a beautiful, golden butterfly. When she opened her eyes, there it was, fluttering gently around her.
She laughed with delight as more wishes came to life—a cozy treehouse, a river made of lemonade, and a sky full of colourful paper lanterns.
Before long, though, Luna looked up at the sky. “It’s nearly dawn, Mira. Time for you to head back across the Rainbow Bridge.”
Mira felt a little sad to leave, but Luna reassured her, “Don’t worry. The Rainbow Bridge appears every night to those who believe in magic.
Quote of the Day
Dreams are the bridges we build between our hearts and the magic waiting just beyond the stars.
Whenever you wish to return, just look out your window and the bridge will be there.”
With a heart full of wonder and joy, Mira hugged her new friends and waved goodbye, promising to return.
She stepped back onto the Rainbow Bridge, feeling the colors swirl around her as it gently carried her home.
The next morning, Mira woke up in her own bed, the memory of Dreamland warm in her heart.
She knew that every night, the Rainbow Bridge to Dreamland would be waiting for her, a magical path to a world where dreams really do come true.
And so, every night before she fell asleep, Mira would whisper, “Goodnight, Dreamland. I’ll see you soon.”
And the Rainbow Bridge would sparkle just a little brighter, ready to welcome her back.
