The Seven Raven – Let’s Read
Once upon a time, there lived a poor farmer and his wife. They had seven sons, and after many years of waiting, they were blessed with a daughter, whom they named Liora.
Liora was small and fragile, but her sweetness brought joy to everyone in her family. Her brothers loved her deeply and promised to always protect her.
One winter, Liora fell very ill. The family heard about a magic spring in the faraway mountains that held healing water.
The seven brothers set out at once to bring back this water for their little sister. They walked for hours through thick forests, climbed steep hills, and finally reached the spring.
But they realized they had forgotten to bring anything to carry the water in. They argued and became frustrated, forgetting why they had come.
Back at home, the parents waited anxiously, hoping their sons would return soon. As the hours passed with no sign of them, their mother grew worried.

In her distress, she said, “If they don’t come back soon, let them be turned into ravens!”
At that very moment, a strange wind swept through the mountains. The brothers felt a chill run through them as their arms turned into wings and their voices turned into harsh caws.
In shock, they saw they had transformed into ravens and, unable to control their new forms, flew away into the sky.
Liora slowly recovered, though she noticed her home felt empty and sad. Her parents never spoke of her brothers, but Liora sensed a mystery.
When she grew older, she overheard whispers about her lost brothers. Curious, she asked her mother for the truth.
Her mother told her the entire story—their journey to the spring, her curse, and their transformation.
Liora’s heart was heavy with guilt. She believed it was because of her illness that her brothers had suffered.
Filled with determination, she decided to go find them and bring them home.
With only her courage, Liora walked deep into the forest, hoping to find a way to help her brothers.
Along her journey, she asked every creature she met—a fox, an owl, even an ancient tree. After many days, the fox finally told her about a wise old woman who lived on the mountain’s peak.
Quote of the Day
True love doesn’t seek reward; it finds strength in sacrifice and courage in kindness.
Liora climbed to the peak and found the wise woman, who listened to her story. “Your love for your brothers is strong,” the woman said.
She handed Liora a silver feather. “This feather holds the power to break the spell, but only true, selfless love can set them free.”
With the feather in her hand, Liora called out to the wind, letting her words of love and sorrow carry through the mountains.
Slowly, seven ravens appeared in the sky, circling her. She held up the silver feather and whispered, “Be free, my brothers.”
The feather shone with a warm light, surrounding the ravens. When the light faded, her seven brothers stood before her, returned to their human forms.
They embraced her, grateful for her bravery and love.
Liora and her brothers returned home to their joyful parents.
The curse was broken, and from that day on, they lived together in peace and happiness, grateful for the bond that kept their family together.
And they lived happily ever after.
